Payment Information
There are no contracts at the YMCA! For your convenience, the YMCA offers an automatic monthly bank draft or credit card payment option. Stop by the member services desk to get started!
Cancellation Policy
In the even, it becomes necessary for you to cancel your membership, stop by the member service desk and complete a termination form. We ask for a 30-day written notice in advance of your regular draft date to cancel your membership. We will also accept an email request with your full membership name, date of birth and reason for termination to info@ymcasumter.org.
Financial Assistance
Our Y promotes an ‘Open Doors’ program that offers financial assistance to those who could otherwise not afford our programs and services. We count on the generous support of our members and community to help people of all ages and from all walks of life be more healthy, confident, connected and secure. Simply pick up an Open Doors application in person or download and print from our website, complete as instructed and drop off at our front service desk for our review. We strive to serve all who apply and qualify.

Corporate Wellness Plans
Healthy living not only benefits an individual, but also the organization of which the person is employed. Our Y is committed to promoting healthy living by providing comprehensive wellness programs that assist local companies to improve the health and well being of their employees. Contact the Associate Executive Director or Executive of Community Health to learn more and ask how you or your company can get involved.

All guests must be accompanied by a member and present a valid photo ID. Local guests are welcome to visit three times each year.
Adult members may bring one guest per visit. Authorized guests are welcome at no charge for their first visit, and there is a $10 fee for subsequent visit.
Member Get a Member
Do you love the Y and want to share it with those you love? Take advantage of our Member Get a Member Program. Click the link below and print the referral cards. Give them to your friends, family, or anyone else who you would like to share the Y experience with. When they join and present the card with your name, you will receive a free month’s membership!
