The Sumter Y and Wateree Gymnastics Center are partnering to provide a brand new gymnastics program for youth. We will offer a variety of classes for boys & girls from recreational gymnastics and tumbling, to a competitive team. Develop self-discipline and confidence while building strength, flexibility and coordination!

Youth Basketball League
Age: 5-14 years
Join Sumter’s long standing tradition of Youth Church League Basketball at the Y. This is a great opportunity for your child to learn teamwork and athletic skills while building character and Christian values. Practice will start in November with games held on Fridays and Saturdays from December through February.

Racquetball
Ages: 15 and older
Children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult.
The Sumter YMCA has two racquetball courts that can be reserved by calling the front desk at 773-1404. Please call 24 hours in advance to reserve your court. Courts may be available on a walk-in basis if they have not previously been reserved. Please check with the front desk before using a court. We also have racquets and balls available for use at the fitness desk.
Bump, Set, Spike!
Ages: 18 and older, Co-ed
Join us for some volleyball action. We offer two courts with pick up games for all levels of players.
Time: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 7:15 – 8:45 p.m.
Cost: Free to all Members
Touchdown Club
Join us for 23 years of honoring local athletes for achievement both in the classroom and on the field. We support, encourage and recognize athletes from high school teams in Sumter, Lee and Clarendon counties.
Each meeting will feature a guest speaker from local colleges, high schools or sports media. Meetings will also include a warm breakfast, devotion, “Player of the Week” and a College Pick ‘Em contest. Come celebrate excellence and be inspired by some of South Carolina’s most talented athletes, coaches and sportscasters. Weekly sponsorships still available.
